This evening’s 2020 Season Grande Finale concert welcomes the internationally renowned Allegri String quartet in a performance of Beethoven’s epic String Quartet op 130 and Brahms’ mighty Piano Quintet in F minor (joined by pianist Warren Mailley-Smith) in the stunning setting of St James’ Church by candlelight.

Concert pianist and Artistic Director of The Piccadilly Chamber Music Series Warren Mailley-Smith became the first british pianist in 2016 to perform Chopin’s complete works from memory. Described by Classic FM as ‘Stunning” he is currently performing Beethoven’s complete Piano Concertos at St Martin in the Fields with The Piccadilly Sinfonia.
All Piccadilly Chamber Music Series concerts are hosted by St James’s Church Piccadilly, a spectacular building situated on Piccadilly, designed by the great Sir Christopher Wren. This majestic London landmark, complete with outdoor marketplace, boasts a beautiful acoustic and plays host to one of the capital’s most stunning concert Fazioli pianos.
